How it works: Minecraft uses three formulas for total XP. Up to level 16 it's
L² + 6L; from 17–31 it's 2.5L² − 40.5L + 360; from 32 up it's 4.5L² − 162.5L + 2220. That's why level 30 costs 1,395 points but level 60 costs over 8,000. Mob estimates ignore XP orb pickup range and looting — they're a rough feel for the grind.
